These Terms of Service constitute a binding agreement between you and Intuitive Software LLC. Please read them carefully before using LionSublet.

Welcome to LionSublet, a platform operated by Intuitive Software LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York ('we', 'us', or 'our'). These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of www.lionsublet.com (the 'Site'). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Site.

LionSublet is a sublet listing platform primarily designed for Columbia University students, though it is accessible to the general public. Access to certain features or listings may be restricted based on your user status or verification, and we reserve the right to limit functionality at our sole discretion.

Our webpages are not operated by or affiliated with Columbia University. The properties listed on the Site are not approved or endorsed by Columbia University, and LionSublet does not verify or claim knowledge about the ownership of any listed property. Columbia University has not inspected the rental units listed and does not offer any guarantees regarding their condition or suitability. It has no involvement in rental or lease agreements made between users of the platform. Additionally, the properties listed on LionSublet are not owned, managed, or controlled by LionSublet or Intuitive Software LLC. We act solely as a listing platform to facilitate communication between independent landlord(s), tenant(s), and prospective subtenant(s).

LionSublet is free to use for all users, but listing owners may optionally Boost their listings on a daily or weekly basis for increased visibility. Boosts are active immediately upon purchase. Daily Boosts last for at least 24 hours, and Weekly Boosts for at least 7 days, with expiration based on a daily system check that runs at midnight UTC. Boosts are offered as recurring subscriptions processed via Stripe. We do not store any credit card information. You may cancel your subscription at any time by visiting the Settings page, selecting 'Billing Portal' and following the cancellation process. If canceled, you will retain access to the remaining boost time already paid for. Please note that Boosting does not guarantee increased traffic, views, or rental outcomes. All payments are final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to update pricing, features, or boost policies at any time.

Users are solely responsible for the content they submit, including listings, images, and messages. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings and do not independently verify user-submitted content unless explicitly noted.

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful, abusive, or misleading activities. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to: impersonation, spamming, unauthorized data scraping, and submitting false or deceptive listings.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are engaged in activity that harms the Site or other users.

The Site is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intuitive Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page and will become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
